Times Walk of the week: Dunure to Maidens, Ayrshire
Walking along the Ayrshire Coastal Path will keep you close to beautiful beaches... there is something for every type of traveller, from miles of beautiful coastline to rugged islands, centuries-old castles and adventure parks.
It is a perfect mix of inland and on-beach sections which keeps things varied and interesting.
Fantastic well signed path. So far have walked the first 2 sections and hope to complete the path with Gillian's Walks. It's a great way to explore this wonderful area. Full of history and beautiful scenery… A big thank you to all those volunteers who help maintain the path. You do a great job

Well marked Pathways. [Guide] Book is great for interesting info. Loved walking next to the sea and seeing the wildlife, seals, deer, rabbits, Peregrine, birds, and fauna. Loved the old castles and their quiet bits.

We are from the States and recently walked the Ayrshire Coastal Path. The Path is a wonderful treasure for Scotland and my wife and I had a remarkable experience. Every day of the walk was a great adventure with many scenic views. We stayed in Bnb's each night along the way and every one of them was great and convenient to the Path. Whether you walk the entire Path or just day trips, we heartily recommend the Ayrshire Coastal Path.
