Digital Mapping

Download digital maps for each section or for the whole route. Note there are two official routes:

Route A is 106 miles long and includes the clifftop route from Glenapp to Ballantrae, as well as the inland links to Burns Cottage, Dundonald Castle, Kilwinning Abbey and the ‘high route’ onto Knock Hill at Largs.

Route B is 92 miles and follows the coastline without the inland links.

Once you download the GPX files, you will be able to open them from your preferred mapping app (Strava, OS Maps etc).
