The Ayrshire Coastal Path (ACP) is looking forward to supporting Eco Ayrshire 2019 this August with several events lined up to show our commitment to ‘taking steps today to sustain tomorrow’!
First up we have partnered with Gillian’s Walks to offer a guided walk along the ACP between Dunure and Ayr (Doonfoot) on Sat 24th Aug. We are delighted that this event is now fully booked!
This will be followed by a litter pick on Thurs 29th Aug in the Kilwinning area along a section of ACP which is also part of the National Cycle Network. It is a known problem-area for littering and we want to clean it up. This event is also open to the public and any support would be much appreciated! Meeting point is the corner of Byrehill Rd / Longford Avenue in Kilwinning 10.30am-12.30pm.
You can also catch up with us on Eco Day 31st Aug at Troon Scout Hall where we will be set up from 11-3 with information about volunteering for the ACP, the work we have done up till now and a small number of official Guidebooks for sale. We hope to see you at one of our events!
